This weekend Maja had her first ever bubble bath.
Watching her discover, inspect, and play with what was going on in her bath was beautiful.
It's yet another moment where I realized how little I stop and marvel over things.
She's good at reminding me to do just that.
So I sat and watched her with as much amazement as she had for those little bubbles.
I made her.
That teeny-tiny baby that I brought home is growing at such a rapid speed.
Her baby-ness is slowly falling away and she's fast becoming an independent little young lady.
She runs and talks.
She runs and talks.
Dances and sings.
She's both incredibly sneaky and extremely loving - a dangerous combination.
She loves kisses and cuddles and has just started to spontaneously say "love you!"
Her personality is so strong and so her.
While Ivo and I can take some credit for the way she acts or talks, and definitely some of her crazy facial expressions, she is innately who she is...
her likes and dislikes are of her own.
The way she sees the world is through her eyes only.
And that's incredibly beautiful.
I hope we give her the skills and confidence to be who she is, always.
To feel confident enough in herself that the idea of being like anyone else simply wouldn't cross her mind.
Because she truly is amazing.
