Thank you so much for the support, sympathy, and donations for sweet

Grace and Wyatt.

They unfortunately passed away on Sunday evening, in the arms of their parents.

There are no words to describe what a nightmare this is, for any family.

I'm in shock that this could happen to such good people.

Andrea is a friend of mine from childhood.

We used to put on plays together, in her Dad's backyard, dance, and sing.

She had an incredibly rough childhood, one that rivals some non-fiction I've read on the subject.
If you were to ask her about it, she'd simply sigh and say how wonderful her life is, now.

Andrea and Matt have dedicated their lives to helping others.
He's a paramedic, she's a nurse.
They're the pure definition of what it is to be GOOD people.

In all honesty, they're the purest, sweetest people I know.
And I just can't believe that this has happened to them.

They invited me to the hospital, on their last day, to get to know Grace and Wyatt.
And asked if I would take pictures of them, as a family.

Walking into the hospital, I wasn't sure what I would be met with...

Imagining myself in that situation- I see me, on the floor in the fetal position, kicking and screaming.

But, they were so strong.

Sure, there were (many) moments of body shaking sobs,

but for the most part they were trying their best to enjoy their last few hours with their babies.

They took their footprints, held their tiny hands, and kissed their sweet faces.

I won't go into detail about the rest of the day,
but I feel incredibly lucky to have witnessed such pure love.

It was beautiful.

Their love for their children is beautiful.

They're wonderful parents, and I wish that they had so much more time with Grace and Wyatt.
