on monday maja had her first appointment with her osteopath.

her doctor had suggested we see one since she's a preemie 

and, often, preemies are developmentally delayed.

she also has a slightly narrow head (i do, too), so we wanted to see about that.

we LOVED him. he's so gentle and soft-spoken. he gently treated her while she stared at him and cooed. 

 

he concluded that her head is a little narrow from my

very rapid 12 minute birth and that after some treatments it should start to round out.

she also has quite a bit of tightness in her right side, which is why her right arm and leg are less active.

we'll be going back for visits, weekly, for the next month or so.

i'm really looking forward to it! 

even though it's an hour drive, i don't mind...

because we'll treat ourselves with a yummy lunch afterward!

on monday, after her appointment we stopped by lemonade.

i had heard about it, and was excited to find that it was VERY close to where we were.

it was delicious! 

i got the peach ginger lemonade and a harissa chicken sandwich

and my sister got the watermelon lemonade with a mozzarella/basil/tomato chicken sandwich.

so good.

we can't wait for monday!! :) xo
